Jermaine F. Williams
Since 2022, Dr. Jermaine F. Williams has served as the president of Montgomery College in Maryland, one of the nation’s largest and most diverse community colleges. As a higher education leader, Dr. Williams is committed to expanding equitable access to college, advancing student success, and delivering outcomes that strengthen communities and economic mobility. Under his leadership, Montgomery College has experienced enrollment increases outpacing state and national growth and was ranked as the best community college in Maryland. Additionally, the College has seen an increase in graduation rates over the past three years.
Prior to joining Montgomery College, Dr. Williams taught and held senior leadership roles at both two- and four-year institutions. He previously served as president of the largest single-campus community college in the SUNY system. He holds a doctorate in education from Temple University.
